Jovic Winery is a family wine cellar with a long-term tradition of the recognized winegrowers and owners of a wine cellar. We process grape from our own vineyards located on the sunny hills in Potrkanje village which is 5 kilometers away from Knjazevac. Excellent conditions for growing both white and red sorts of grape are provided by the land which is on the height of 250 to 300 meters above sea level, the climate conditions, as well as the influence of the mountains Tupiznica and Stara planina. On the whole land of 15 ha we carefully grow these sorts of grape: vranac, cabernet sauvignon, muskat hamburg, chardonnay, rhein riesling and sauvignon blanc. We apply traditional method to production in a modern and technically well equipped wine cellar. An instantaneous capacity of the cellar is 100.000 liters, but we plan to build a new cellar for baric barrels and premises for lodging the additional 50.000 liters of wine. The characteristics of the previous grape harvests are preserved in our own archive which is created in 1987 in an old family cellar. The highest awards, gold and silver medals at the international wine contests prove the distinguished quality of our wine. We are proud of our wines: Vranac potrkanjski, Rajnski rizling, Rose Dionizije, Chardonnay, Visnjica.
